DID RICHARD NIXON COMMIT TREASON?

LBJ announced the end of the Vietnam War the Thursday before the 1968 election. A total cease-fire... North Vietnam agreed. It was scuttled two days later on Saturday by the South Vietnam govt. It turns out that Nixon told the South Vietnam gov't that the Democrats are selling them out, and screwing them, the South Vietnamese Gov't. LBJ called it treason... He was right, Nixon committed treason. The reason that it was never publicized is because the FBI tapped the phone lines in Saigon, (Illegal), so the public didn't know and Nixon promised the South Vietnamese Gov't that he would end the war and he had a better plan.... (He didn't) and the war lasted another 5 years and another 15,000 troops were killed... this was a lead in concerning Bush's lies concerning Iraq... The Maddow Blog for the whole story.
